Yes, it’s May, but I wanted to share this journal spread.
At the start of the new year, I chose my word for the year: Clear
I need and want to clear up my life.
Clear and organize my scrap supplies so I can work
Clear my body of the junk that’s holding it back
Clear out excess social media stuff so I can focus and not be overwhelmed
Clear out and use my art stuff
Maintain a schedule of keeping paperwork from piling up, which leads to me procrastinating dealing with it.
Clear my life so I can enjoy it.
Choosing a word for the year is pretty new for me. I’ve done resolutions in the past, but last year was the first year I chose a word for the year. This year my word is “clear”. I want to clear up my life, in most ways.
Clear up paperwork and keep a system of managing it so it doesn’t overwhelm me. Clear my body and get healthier (and hopefully lose some excess weight that I lost and gained back).
I also wanted to clear up my art stash. Not get rid of anything exactly, but more organize it, that way I’m not constantly searching for stuff and can actually craft. Paperwork extends to e-mail and stuff, too. I don’t have to keep everything forever.
So I had to do a spread in my little moleskine, which still doesn’t have a cover yet, but I’ll get to it.
